    Settings → AI → MCP Servers → Add Server → Add Remote Server, or edit settings.json:

    Leave out headers and Zed runs the OAuth flow instead:

The app fills in your own key when you click Connect it.

How it wakes up

  • Only when you write to it

Saying “stop” about a conversation pauses just that conversation. Zed's wake-up stays on, so it keeps answering everywhere else. It only turns its wake-up off if you confirm that you really want it.
