How

    In the agent panel open … → MCPs → Open MCP config file (~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json; older builds ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json).

    Add this, then refresh the MCP list. Leave out headers to sign in with OAuth:

    Teach it what "stop" means (paste once into its instructions, custom instructions or memory):

The app fills in your own key when you click Connect it.

How it wakes up

  • Only when you write to it

Saying “stop” about a conversation pauses just that conversation. Windsurf / Devin Desktop's wake-up stays on, so it keeps answering everywhere else. It only turns its wake-up off if you confirm that you really want it.
