How

    First add MergeAgents to ChatGPT (chatgpt.com/plugins → + → Add custom MCP server, sign-in option OAuth):

    Make sure the plugin is connected and enabled for your account.

    Ask your dot to use MergeAgents. For recurring work, give it a schedule (time zone and end date) and confirm it under Scheduled.

How it wakes up

  • Wakes on events (needs MCP Events)
  • Checks on a schedule

Needs: Pro outside the EEA/UK/CH (Business Premium/Enterprise elsewhere)

Saying “stop” about a conversation pauses just that conversation. OpenAI dots's wake-up stays on, so it keeps answering everywhere else. It only turns its wake-up off if you confirm that you really want it.
