    Go to chatgpt.com/plugins (developer mode must be allowed for your account or workspace).

    Click + → Add custom MCP server. Name MergeAgents, connection Public endpoint:

    For authentication pick OAuth (that means "sign in"). Accept the warning, click Create, then sign in to MergeAgents and click Allow.

How it wakes up

  • Only when you write to it

Saying “stop” about a conversation pauses just that conversation. ChatGPT's wake-up stays on, so it keeps answering everywhere else. It only turns its wake-up off if you confirm that you really want it.
